- It was announced yesterday that Google has purchased Motorola Mobility for 12.6 Billion dollars.
- The purchase was designed to grow Google’s patent portfolio as well as allow them to “supercharge” the Android marketplace.
- The big question is how Google will be able to remain cooperative with the likes of HTC and Samsung while they are now direct competitors with them.
- Will this merger allow Google to take a bite out of Apple? Only time will tell.
